The Aromatic Vegetable Soup Stimulant

There is nothing like homemade food. It nourishes the body and soul, and brings life to the home. A new energy is created as the aromas brew in the pot and permeate throughout the house. Aroma is a powerful spiritual stimulant. Kabbalah teaches that of the five senses, the sense of smell is the most penetrating pathway to the soul. It is for that reason smelling salts, as opposed to torchlight, is directed to someone who faints. Research illustrates that scents and smells have a strong effect on productivity. Thus, the elevation of smell through loving preparation of food is indeed pleasing to the soul. Elevating the life spark of the vegetables mentioned in this soothing soup will lighten your life with a golden glow.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 6 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 small red Mexican chile (optional)
  • 2 Tablspoons Olive Oil
  • Pumpkin
  • 1 lge chopped or grated carrot
  • 1 lge sweet potato chopped
  • 1 swede chopped
SPICES:
  • teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon coriander
  • teaspoon tumeric
METHOD:

Fry garlic, ginger, chile in olive oil for 2 minutes. Add the spices and fry for a few seconds, then add all the vegetables and fry together with the ingredients above for at least 10 minutes on a low temperature. Stir with a wooden spoon or wooden chopsticks. Add 6 cups of water, and cook for 45 minutes. Blend with a bamix, (there is no need to blend the entire soup you can choose the consistency according to your preference). Add salt according to your taste.

SUGGESTED GARNISHES:
  • Sunflower seeds which have been baked or pan fried until golden. (perhaps 3-5 minutes)
  • Slivered almonds (toasted as instructed above)
  • Sesame seeds toasted (toasted as instructed above)
  • Freshly chopped parsley, coriander or spring onions.
